Nick Bare

Founder, Bare Performance Nutrition | Entrepreneur | Endurance Athlete
Nick Bare has built a reputation around one simple idea: discipline compounds.

Raised in Texas, Bare joined the U.S. Army after graduating high school and served as an Infantry Officer. During that time, he began documenting his training, routines, and mindset on YouTube – initially as a personal log of how he balanced military life with fitness.

What started as a small channel eventually turned into something much bigger.

In 2012, Bare launched Bare Performance Nutrition (BPN) out of his college apartment while attending Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business through the Army ROTC program. The early days were simple: packing supplement orders himself, shipping them out between classes, training sessions, and military commitments.

The brand grew steadily because the message behind it was clear. BPN wasn’t just about supplements; it was about showing up every day and doing the work.

After completing his military service, Bare moved full-time into building the company and creating content. His YouTube channel became one of the most respected in the fitness and endurance space, documenting ultramarathons, Ironman training, and the process of scaling a company from the ground up.

Today, Bare Performance Nutrition has become a widely recognized performance brand used by athletes, runners, and everyday people trying to improve their lives one habit at a time.

Bare himself still lives the lifestyle he promotes: training daily, competing in endurance events, and continuing to share the behind-the-scenes realities of building something meaningful.

His story isn’t built on shortcuts or overnight success.

It’s built on consistency.

The pattern is simple: show up, do the work, and keep going.
